The vibrant, creative atmosphere in Berlin inspired the designer Mareen Weden and generated the first designs of the label mareen in 2008. Affected by the sorroundings the first collection was called „Bonjour Berlin“.

Based on several sources of inspiration the label mareen today focuses on exclusive, french fabrics and feminine designs, which are handmade in Berlin. Furthermore Mareen Weden specialises on luxury ready-to-wear for self- confident and quality-conscious women.

milestones

• Mareen Weden finished her studies in fashion design at JAK in Hamburg in 2007
• the label "mareen" was founded in march 2008
• attendance at fashion exhibitions, like premium Berlin or CPD in Düsseldorf
• further advancement of the designs and positioning of the label in high-price segment
• showroom opening in Berlin Mitte in 2009
• opening of the first "mareen" boutique in Fasanenstrasse 29/ nearly Kurfürstendamm in Berlin in the end of march 2010

• each collection is handmade in Germany
• unique size tags by using coloured strass stones
• usage of frensh fabrics with highest quality standards, like lamm nappa, goat velour, silk chiffon and rabbit fur

  • piping pocket, piping stitching inside and outside
  • each fabric is outer fabric, no low priced lining fabrics
